Mobile broadband is taking off and becoming ever more popular. With the Digital Britain report from the government released not long ago they are looking to mobile broadband providers to help make the whole of Britain be able to receive a minimum of 2Mb broadband by 2012.
For any high data users though mobile broadband is not likely to be the way to look as currently the data transfer limits are much less than are available from standard through the phone line providers.

We are now seeing Virgin roll out 50Mb broadband and also the announcement that BT has got the go-ahead to start rollign out it's fibre network that will mean they can offer much faster speeds than they are able to from the current copper wires they use in their network.

You have explained nicely what customers don't usually consider looking in to buying such deals and fall for the free deals, I am not all against it but you have made a good point

HI Hermione.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

I am sorry but I can not be of help. You are after go-broadband.com and this is go-broadband.co.uk - the two websites are unrelated; this is a UK website.

This the broadband account for which I have forgotten the password--can you please advise
xxxxxxxxxx@go-broadband.com

Also I need to ensure that the account continues to be paid as my husband who used deal with all this has recently died. Is there a phone number I can call to sort this out?

I disagree totally with this assesment of this company.
I signed up to globalnet in 1997 and so ended up with maaf, I signed up for their broadband package last December and everything was great, so I had my phone line rental with them as well. But, since September the service has been pathetic, with down load speeds sometimes being slower than dial up! These slow speeds have happened five times since September. Then the phone line, this started to get noisier and noisier and now I have no phone line at all, no dial tone and so unable to make or receive calls. The standard response from maaf is that it’s a problem your end, so off you go and buy new filters, cables etc, but of course the problem is with them. So I haven’t taken their advice to get a new phone and have instead cancelled by line rental and I’m counting down the time until my contract is up and I can ditch this utterly useless company completely.
I’d advise anyone and everyone to avoid madasafish like the proverbial plague, if my experience is anything to go by, they won’t be long for this world anyway.

In some areas you have rubbish ADSL and rubbish Mobile signal. We at Airzone Broadband have just connected the village of Pebmarsh. It's not cheap but it is solid.
